Traveler razor adapter

Many countries have a mains supply of 115V. If your electric shaver can only be used for 220/240V, this will be a problem. This simple rectifier voltage doubler enables a 240V motor-driven razor to run at full speed from a 115V supply. Since the output voltage is DC, this circuit can only be used to drive small AC/DC motors. For example, it cannot be used to run a vibrating shaver or radio unless the radio has AC/DC operation.
