Tianjin Binhai New Area invests 1 billion yuan to upgrade lighting system

Recently, the Tianjin Binhai New District lighting product production and demand matchmaking meeting was held. At the meeting, the Tanggu, Hangu, Dagang and other management committees issued on-site information on the demand for lighting products such as street lamps and landscape lamps.

At the meeting, the author learned that Binhai New Area will invest nearly 10 billion yuan this year to improve the appearance of the district, including only 1 billion yuan for street lamps and night lighting systems. It is estimated that nearly 5000 street lights and a large number of night lighting systems will be needed throughout the year. At the end of the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” period, public lighting facilities in the new district are expected to be fully upgraded, all of which will be replaced with energy-saving and environmentally-friendly new products, and a livable eco-city will be basically built. It is understood that the new district will renovate 50 roads, 54 communities, 1,600 buildings and 12 million square meters of new green land this year. These renovations will involve street lighting, LED landscape lights, community lights and other lighting facilities. Nearly 5000 bases.

At present, there are nearly 20 lighting production enterprises above designated size in the New District. There are 11 companies participating in the Matchmaking Conference. It is expected that 9 companies will reach preliminary cooperation intentions at the Matchmaking Meeting.
