Shuyin Yin: Implementing "One Special Four" to build a strong smart grid

On October 30th (Saturday), at the 2010 “Energy and Economic Development” forum held in Beijing, Shu Yinyu, deputy general manager of the State Grid Corporation of China, stated that during the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” period, the State Grid will vigorously strengthen power grid construction and promote clean energy development. The "One Special Four" strategy (referring to UHV, large coal power, large hydropower, large nuclear power, large-scale renewable energy) will be implemented to build a strong smart grid.
