O 2 Micro LED patent won the decision of the Patent Reexamination Board

Bump Electronics (Wuhan) Co., Ltd. filed a lawsuit against the Asustek Computer Co., Ltd. and its subsidiary Changshuo Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. for infringing the company's 200610127569.X invention patent. Changshuo Technology filed a request for invalidation with the Patent Reexamination Board of the State Intellectual Property Office.

On December 29, 2011, according to the Patent Reexamination Board No. 17838 of the State Intellectual Property Office, the “Decision of Invalidation Request”, the 200610127569.X patent of Bump Electronics (Wuhan) Co., Ltd. (a wholly-owned subsidiary of O2 Micro Technology Co., Ltd.) was fully valid. This marks the decisive victory of O2 Micro in the fight against LED patents.
